I am about to fight a battle to protect it, to pave the way for other writers out there who choose to do great deeds through digging for the real truth no matter what the cost. This is a fight for the truth you don't read about in the newspapers or see anything about on the big networks. This is a fight for the little guy who the big corporation tries to sue to get rid of. This is a fight for the tiny, growing sport that the principal owners hijacked to enrich their own already expansive bank accounts.
The truth is a funny thing. You can't make it go away. You can't change it and still make it look real. You can't drive around it when it's standing in your path. You can't erase it by throwing money and lawyers at it. It just looms large right in front of you and will never leave until you acknowledge it.
This litigation was designed to cloud the truth, rewrite history, and blame the victim. I say it's time for things to change. It's time for the real perpetrators to show their ugly faces and admit fault for what they've done. It is time for accountability, integrity, and honor to rule the day that duplicity and deception have so rudely tried to run away with.
